Stalking Intructions

My middle son sent me this. Too funny. Oh, how I love The Onion.

  1. LOL First they have to approve you as their friend... that's not always easy! Love this! My son quit facebook because he didn't want potential employers hunting him down. This was great!

  2. They may have to approve you BUT it's like a popularity contest to see who has the most friends so I dunno how discerning they are. I saw a thing on the news recently how you can BUY friends if you want to show how 'popular' you are. Hmmmmm...we all think about Big Brother stalking us and having TMI. I guess if family is creative enough, they can have all the info they want too, ha!

  3. Hysterical I loved it. Still not living in a Facebook world over here for now.

  4. It took me a minute to realize that this was a spoof, because it's so right on! Too funny! My daughter's past the age where I need to stalk her, but still enjoy what she has to say to friends. And I'm 'friends' with my ex-husband's grown son, so that's kind of fun and different!

  13. LOL!! The Onion is great. I have to admit to tracking my college-age daughter a time or two by seeing where she has used her debit card - our accounts are linked. :-O

  15. That's hilarious. Sometimes FB gives you a little more info than you might want to know.

  16. That's a hoot. I really don't like Facebook.. this concept isn't all that far-fetched. I feel way too visible out there even with restricted settings. But this truly was funny.. thanks for sharing. :)

Yes, FB sometimes gives you way more info than you want to know.

  28. Hilarious, cher! If I tried that with mine, they would kill me. lol Besides, they would never add me as a friend and I learned a long time ago to respect their privacy or else. Cheers!

  30. This was so funny that at first I did not realize it was not real... just a spoof. I love facebook for keeping update with my family.

  31. I loved it, too. Just yesterday I saw that my son had friended a new girl on Facebook, and her profile showed her in a very short skirt. It was all I could do to keep from sending her some pithy piece of advice such as "Keep your hands off my boy, tramp!"
